The centre will be the first fully integrated Medical & Dental Specialist Centre of Excellence of its kind in South Australia (and one of the first in Australia) and will focus on servicing local, interstate and overseas patients. The facilities proposed within the centre will enable a broad range of specialists to operate in a collaborative fashion, working in close proximity to enable face to face case discussions and streamlined case planning to facilitate improved outcomes for patients under the one roof, ensuring the best outcome for the patient is achieved. Onsite digital imaging, laboratories and an AV training centre will be augmented by numerous consulting/ /clinical rooms (including provision of 2 x custom built IV sedation day surgery suites), and will serve to attract patients from all over Australian and indeed throughout the  globe.    

The centre will also provide comprehensive support for both patient and practitioners alike; ensuring attraction/retention of leading dental and medical specialists under the one roof.  

• Generate  new healthcare jobs in South Australia
• Provide patients with the opportunity to access a broad range of collaborating      medical and dental specialists under the one roof, resulting in improved  treatment outcomes  
• Enhance retention/residence of local medical specialists (both graduate and experienced) in South Australia, as it will be a draw-card for new medical and dental      specialists 
• Improve the model for care of patients via integrated service offering – with      specialists collaborating under one roof – thereby reduction of wait times  (and costs to patient – spanning financial, temporal and geographic) and improvement of healthcare outcomes
